1 pound lean ground beef
1 cup onion, chopped
1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
1 1/2 cup water
2 (15 1/4 oz.) cans kidney beans
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cumin
Directions
Brown ground beef with onion in Dutch oven. Drain fat.
Stir in tomato paste and stewed tomatoes. Break up tomatoes. Add water, beans, garlic, chili powder, salt, and cumin. Mix well.
Cover and simmer 30 minutes.
