Green Chili with Steak

1 1/2 pounds round steak, cut into 1/2-inch strips
1 cup flour
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon oregano
2 tablespoon oil
1 large can whole tomatoes
1 can chopped green chili
1 large onion, chopped

Directions

Mix flour, garlic and oregano. Coat meat with flour mixture and brown in oil in 3-4 quart pot. Cut tomatoes into fourths and add juice and all to meat, then add green chili and onions.

Simmer for 1 1/2 hours, until tender. Serve on fried tortilla shell with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, cheddar cheese and sour cream on top.
