Rice and Green Chilies

4 cups cooked rice
2 (8 oz.) cartons sour cream
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup shredded Monterey jack cheese
3/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 (4 oz.) can whole green chilies, seeded and cut into strips

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine rice, sour cream and salt. Stir well. Spoon half into a buttered 10x6x2-inch baking dish. Layer half the cheese and half the green chilies on top. Repeat layers with other half.

Bake 20 minutes until heated and cheese is melted.
