2 pounds ground beef
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 (16 oz.) can pinto beans
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or less
1 (16 oz.) can peeled tomatoes, chopped
1 (12 oz.) can beer
1 small onion, chopped
Directions
Cook ground beef in frying pan; drain liquid. Mix beef in large pot with tomato sauce, pinto beans, and tomatoes.
Add chili powder, oregano, beer (or 12 oz. water).
Salt lightly to taste and add 1 small onion, if desired.
Simmer 10 minutes. Slowly stir in cayenne pepper.
Cook another 5 minutes.
